Aurora graphics play a part in story of city's new library

Graphic panels produced by Aurora are adorning a prominent space in central Birmingham. In January 2010, as work began on the construction of the new £193m Birmingham Library development which will adjoin the REP Theatre, a series of hoardings has been erected around the busy Centenary Square location. The new Library development is already making headlines, thanks to a stunning architectural conceptual which will make a striking landmark on the Birmingham skyline. The hoardings are there to protect the site and shield the work from view during the construction stage of the project. Birmingham City Council have worked with Aurora to produce graphics for the hoardings, which have been printed on self-adhesive vinyl, covered in an anti-graffiti laminate and mounted on to dibond panels. The panels feature adverts for the REP Theatre’s off-site programme up to 2013, and as part of the agreement, Aurora will update these panels on a regular basis
